A signature is the text or image that appears under some members' posts. Before you create a signature, please be aware of the following: - As per rule 5 (click here to see our forum rules), your signature must be no larger than:
Text: max 5 lines / Image: max size 500x80 pixels with a max file size of 40Kb
- Combination of text & image allowed, but image must be reduced in size to accommodate text
- Any images used in signatures must be hosted on your own remote webspace (click here to see our 'Inserting Images' tutorial) - if it is being hosted by a third party, please ensure you have the copyright/host owner's permission to link to the image.
To create a signature, you'll need to go into your profile by using the button at the top of any page: You should then click on 'Modify Profile' and scroll down to your signature box. Please remember the 5 lines of text rule! If you wish to add an image, you should use the [ img][/img] code and place the url (http:// or www. etc) between them, like we do when adding images to posts ( click here to see our 'Inserting Images' tutorial). Once you're done, scroll down to the bottom and click on 'Modify Profile'.
